Just wondered if anyone else is interested in emulating the 6502. Personally, I've been involved in one small emulation project in the past, related to college written in GNU c++...Later. |

There are a number of 6502 emulators, hidden in C64 emulators, VIC20 emulators, Apple II emulators etc. Just grab one. (The VICE emulator is even GPLd, so follow the links from http://www.6502.org/users/andre) Andre |

Andre, You are more familiar with the 6502 emulators than anyone here. Could you be convinced to throw together a simple emulator for the PCB Project? It would need to emulate the 6502, 6522, 16550, and do I/O through a simulated RS-232 dumb terminal. |

Hi Mike, I was afraid you´d say something like this [Building a PCB Project emulator] The problem is I don´t actually have the time to do this, but I´ll see what I can do (maybe I use this as finger-practice for my new cvs knowledge I got Can´t give a time schedule, though. Ah, and it´ll only run on Linux, although porting the thing to DOS/Win should after that only be a matter of rewriting some menu files in arch/dos or arch/win in the VICE source (I guess I could use the 6545 emulation for the terminal, so I don´t need to make some custom code Andre |
