In the past days Lee's website has been offline and therefore access to the EhBASIC documentation was difficult while many coppies of the code already exist. Since I happened to have a snapshot of Lee's EhBASIC website, I compiled all of the documentation on his website into a PDF manual. I then tried to contact Lee through his last known e-mail address and by PM on this forum to seek for approval to publish the manual. This has been unsuccessful so far.

I am publishing this manual now in the hope, that the clear copyright statement in the preface and in the introduction would find Lee's approval anyway.

If you find errors in the manual contact me via PM.

I can't speak on behalf of Lee, but I would like to thank you for your attractive preservation effort.

I hope that Lee is okay. I have had a similar experience with VTL-2's author, Frank McCoy. Last summer, he was very kind and responsive, and would sometimes reply to my e-mails in mere minutes. The last update that I sent to him, carrying news of the positive interest generated here, has gone unanswered for many weeks. I know that he had some health issues, and I pray that they didn't get the better of him (Frank).

Take care,

Mike

I too had attempted to contact him, with no response. This has me concerned...

Good job on this manual. Although I don't have EhBASIC implemented on anything at this time I did archive a copy of your manual here on one of our servers for safe-keeping.

Sometime in the undetermined future, I'm going to see about adapting EhBASIC to my POC series, with an emphasis on taking advantage of the 65C816's enhanced features.

So much to do...so little time in which to do it...

I hope he's ok and surfaces! We lost contact with Rob Finch for a few years too, but he's back now. In the mean time, here are some other URLs I've collected for Lee's materials:
