I live in the UK and find that wherever i look, there is outrageous shipping fees, they don't sell the related chips or have 40-45+ days of shipping!
If anyone can tell me where to find a 65c02 (and related chips) in the U.K that'd be amazing.

Thanks for the help!

I didn't find any european website to buy them.

Mouser and Jameco sells the 65C02, 65C21, 65C22 and 65C51

I buy them at Mouser, you get free shiping at 50€ (33£ at mouser.co.uk) import taxes included, and the shipping from usa is really fast, like 7 days or so.

There are several people selling them on ebay.co.uk and a variety of speeds and types (NMOS or CMOS) are available starting at about £5 including P & P.

Of course, 'buyer beware' etc.

Send an email to Coltek. They are a UK distributer for WDC. I've bought from them several times.
http://www.coltekukltd.com/

They also list WDC chips on ebay

I have some spare stock as well.

To double up on what Bitwise says: http://www.coltekukltd.com/ in the UK.

Please DO NOT buy off ebay. There is a good chance you'll buy a fake/counterfeit or just something else. Unless you really want an old NMOS 6502 or a specicity chip maker then either buy from Coltek or Mouser. Yes, shipping from mouser will cost you a few £ and will take 3-4 days, but so what. Suck it up if you want the genuine article.

Seems as though half our members are in the UK. :D

As for purchasing a 65C02 on eBay, good luck with that. A distressing amount of product turns out to be fake. I second others' recommendation that you contact Coltek. They are a reputable company.

BTW, the 65C02 was manufactured by Rockwell and others in the past. There are plenty of those available, though it's unlikely any of them will be new.
