Does anyone have any information or documentation on the LJ Visa 2 6502 trainer?

It doesn’t have a 6502 CPU on it but it does have the following: -

Keyboard and interface
Battery back-up
RAM and ROM
Video interface
Floppy disk interface
EPROM programmer
Ribbon cable to connect to a 6502 processor??

Any comments or ideas welcomed

Didn't something like this sell on eBay (UK) a week or two ago?

Hi

Yes, I won the auction!!

I was expecting it to have its own CPU?

If you want to have a look, its item number is 4167638803 on Ebay.

Hhmm, "untested and sold as seen". The absence of the processor is not mentioned but I'm not sure how much come back you have.

Looking at the board I don’t think it is should have a CPU. I think the CPU connects to the ribbon cable on the left of the board??

Go look here ..

http://www.ljgroup.com/products/mods.asp?BrandID=4&ProgID=139&Clusters=False

.. I would guess you need the D3000 module to go with your board. It shouldn't be beyond possible to clone what's needed to make it run.

Is an image of the module, there is also a .pdf 'fact sheet' available.
