Hi,

some time ago I bought the following adapter

different to many other adapters it is a 600mil DIP wide adapter and not a SOJ to quad line. I only got two but I would like to have more. Anyone who knows where I can get/buy these? The original manufacturer no longer makes them. They can, for example, be used to make the high-speed RAMS breadboard friendly.

Have you considered making a run of the PC boards yourself? If you've done PC boards before, it shouldn't take you more than a couple of hours to create the necessary Gerber files to send to a manufacturer. If not, I may be able to help if you're not in a hurry for the boards.

And here are the pins for it: http://www.interplex.com/nas/index/prod ... ip_headers (Note that they let your board be slightly wider than usual, to plug into a given socket (like .600" wide).

I've bought quite a few Aries adapters, but it looks like they're not making them anymore, and the ones left in stock have fewer pins. There are other manufacturers, but Aries was the least expensive and still had excellent quality. I don't know how Ironwood stays in business.

What's an additional VIA among friends, anyhow?

Thanks for your suggestions. I think going for a batch of own PCB designs will be the best option.

Cheers
