I've seen 32K and 64K SRAM chips in the skinny 0.300" DIP packages. Anyone know if there's an 8K CMOS SRAM chip available in that package & size?

You can always use a bigger one if you can't find a smaller one though, and just connect one or more of the address lines to Vcc or ground.
