Hi guys

Has anyone come across half width wire wrap sockets? I've got a few Cypress CY7C199CN-15PXC 32KB SRAM ICs (28 pin) which I want to try with my next 6502 build. Unfortunately, they are half width ICs (see the picture below).

If such a socket doesn't exist then I can always get a full width one, cut the support bars between the pin rows and move them closer together.
BTW I checked on Mouser's website and also Farnell's 9as well as ringing and using livechat support) - no luck.

You mean "narrow" 28pin DIPs? I've never used wire-wrap, but would it be possible to just use two 14 row pin headers?

Edit: another option is of course two 14 pin narrow sockets end to end. I've used that method with ATMegas in narrow DIP28. Regular PCBs though.

I've bought them from Mouser before:

They show in stock.
