==========================
Hi guys,
I can't remember whether I posted any info on this before, but I have set-
up a web page with all the details I've cobbled together on my BusCard
(Rev. A).
The BusCard was manufactured by a little company in Toronto called
Batteries Included Ltd - later subsumed by Electronic Arts, I believe. I
bet no one currently at EA even knows they bought it. It plugs into the
expansion port of a C64 and provides an IEEE-488 bus and a parallel
printer bus.
You may see quite a few BusCard II cards around, but I seem to have been
an early adopter and have one of the few (only one?) of the BusCard Rev.
A. This version is of particular interest because it uses common
components rather than proprietary chips like the BusCard II.
The purpose of my project is to ultimately provide Gerber files with
EAGLE so people can make their own BusCard.
I have very limited time and so I've uploaded my hand-drawn schematic as
it is now for people to look at and comment on. Eventually I'll get back
to EAGLE and do it all right. In the mean time, please feel free to send
any comments along by email - I don't check here often.
Anyway, maybe it's of interest to someone:
