Since members on this forum sent me ic for free, it would be fair that i offer stuff that i don't need for free too...
Sometimes is cheaper to buy more than one lot on ebay, so i happen to have some stuff that i don't need.
If anyone needs the stuff, send me a pm, and ill ship it to you.
I have:
(big number)x 3.57MHz crystals for NTSC video
2x 14.318MHz oscillator
Some 4066 that i bought, but i didn't use them in the end.
1x MC68B44 dma ic (i won a bid for 3x, but i need only 1)
0x 32k ram 77ns(it was supposed to be for the 68k sbc, but i went for 512k)
?x SN74ABT245(15x cheaper than 1, I only need 5x max)
1x 74ls181(bought 3x, but i need only 2x)
80x 555 ic (a friend of mine convinced me to buy 100x, but i managed to kill and i lost some of them)
1x fancy green 12v,8 characters 7 segment vfd tube.
Lots of misc 4000 logic ic.
I never used any of this components, so they are new.
And i also have that packet from BitWise, with lots of pic mcu, and nmos 6502, and 6502 peripherals (via, acia), ram, rom. I guess i won't be soldering them all any time soon, but i planned to use some of them.

Ill ship this items to any 6502.org member.

If anyone has stuff that you don't need, i encourage you to make a short list, so we don't have to spend lots of money getting the components elsewhere.

It's nice of you to offer, but in many cases the shipping from Croatia may cost more (at least for those in the U.S.) than the parts cost here, and it's always good to have extras. You may find you have a use for them later. I always buy extras, which is partly why I have a quarter of a million parts in my office at home. Many projects I do don't require ordering anything at all; but if I do order, I also order things for future projects I've been thinking about but have not even decided for sure that I want to start on. OTOH, I doubt I will ever touch my 110 6512 µP's which I bought for something around 1986 and never went through with it!

Individual SIDs, no, but I have a lot of C64's and 128's and related accessories I'd like to give to someone who would appreciate it (ie, not the E-waste). Just pick it up here or pay shipping from Southern California.

BDD-- my apologies. I replied to your post, accidentally clicking "Edit" instead of "Quote" (as moderator I can edit others' posts, but per Mike's request, I don't, even when it's awfully tempting to fix a typo or something) and then when trying to fix my mistake, I deleted your post. What it said was:

A quarter million? Surely you must be exaggerating just a tiny bit. :D

and my reply was:

I came to that number some time back, and I don't remember how. The cheapest ones would be a couple hundred resistors of each of 180 values, followed by 144 values of capacitors. Actually, I have whole reels of some of the values. I have thousands of ICs in at least 230 types. Add connectors, crystals, trimmer pots, LEDs, IC sockets, transistors, diodes, switches, hardware, crimps, fuses, etc., and pretty soon you're talking about a lot of parts. A few weeks ago my wife's 10-year-old grand-niece came in and saw the parts cabinets, workbenches, and equipment, and said, "This is like--like--heaven! I could just live in here!" (I doubt that the 60 shelf-feet of books or all the dust contributed to that comment.)

Edit, Jan 2014: I recently spent a few hours in the garage looking for something, and I'd have to say there are at least another half million components there, although 2/3 of that is thru-hole resistors (mostly 1/8 watt) which aren't of much value now that production electronics are all SMT. There's at least a cubic foot of just pin headers and probably more, many boxes of relays, plus other stuff.

LOL! Me too...

I only have a desk, and a cabinet, my stuff must be mobile, since when i move from collage/home apartment for summer breaks i have to pack the components/tools/devices all in a microwave oven box, which then gets super heavy and you can barely pick it up.

As for resistors, i am at war with them, i never can find the resistor that i need, the resistance is always something close, double or half, grr... I need to find a resistor kit with all kinds of resistors in it.

And what kind of Commodore stuff do you have?

I put together an inventory which I should find and post on my website. I guess the reason I haven't done that yet is that I also want to take inventory of the Apple II stuff and do it all at once. There are lots of computers, disc drives, power supplies, modems, monitors, interfaces, loads of discs & books, etc., etc..

Package sent to Johnny starr.
I have now depleted my surplus stock, but I still do have some chips, but I am probably going to use them somewhere. If you need something badly you can send me a pm, and I can see what else can I spare.

Thanks again to bitwise for a box full of ic.

And thank you Dajgoro for the donations. If I end up coming across anything I'm determined to not use, I will make a post here to pay it forward.
