The trick methinks to avoiding some counterfieting, stuff them inhouse and dont send code or schematics....

I agree. While they could counterfeit the board layout, it wouldn't be of any value if they can't figure out what parts to install. The last can be further thwarted by minimizing the silk-screened artwork to the bare essentials.

Frnakly, I don't like doing business with those folks. I'd rather keep the business in the USA if possible. There *are* U.S.-based board houses that don't outsource their work.
