I have been reading this forum for a while now and thought you might be intrested in this

Its a 6502 core with all mod cons such as USB, UART, lots of IO , LCD driver, and more.

Wow, there's a lot there. I didn't find an instruction set in the data sheet. Is there one there? The internal ROM seemed to only be mask-programmed. Is that correct, or can it be programmed on the workbench?

I have no first hand experence using these chips, but they seem to be used in digital photo frames, there is some info about hacking them to be found here

I bought a couple of cheap photoframes with that site in hand and hacking in mind, but one of the two used a different cpu and the other refused to take a (battery) charge, so they both went back to amazon.

It's still a nice idea: cpu+memory+display, battery powered, usb connection.
