Hallo allemaal,

Busy with the development of my TTL-6502 I need a way to test it. One idea is using an PC I/O-card I found. It has four 8255's on board providing 96 I/O lines. The idea is simple: all in- and outputs of the 6502 are connected to an I/O line. Including the clock line and that is the one I'm worried about. I found some data sheets mentioning that PHI0 (H) can be stretched as desired. But PHI0 (L) cannot.
Has anybody practical experience in this matter and wants to share it here?

Many thanks!

WDC's can be stopped in either phase. Rockwell and other CMOS ones could only be stopped with phase 2 high.
