Hi all.

I've got this crazy idea coming to my head since I obtained classic C=64
(already had 2 new ones running, not too much space inside the case methinks).
Anyone socketed '816 cpu and extra ram on daughterboard inside mentioned box?
As well I'm thinking to put up 2.5" ide disk there with ide64 or similar card.
All help appreciated :)

Take a look at www.cmdweb.de/scpu.htm or do a websearch for Creative Micro Designs. I can't tell for sure, but it looks like that company may not be making the 20MHz 65816 C64 accelerator or 512K memory boards anymore but that there are still new ones available. It looks like you have a distributor there in England too. IOW, it has not only been done, but you can buy it off the shelf, and you don't even have to open your case.

I'm aware of the scpu, tho this would be fully inside the classic c64 case running on daughterboard replacing the 6510 (and running 4-14MHz).
