hello Friends:

this is not a critical question, only for my general knowledge.
i like knowing a bit more about the components that i work with.

who originally designed the ULN2003, ULN2803
and related devices?

from ChipDir, i know that these companies use the ULN chip prefix:
Allegro, Motorola, NS, SGS, Sprague, TI

U chip prefix
http://www.xs4all.nl/~ganswijk/chipdir/prefix/u.htm

but who actually designed the first ULN2003?
is it the former Sprague Semiconductor Group/Allegro?

thank you in advance for your help.

have a nice day,

Aaron
