I have seen the ROM code that Rich has posted on his site but am unable to get it to program into my EEPROM. I am using TMS2532JL from TI.
Anybody know that the orginal ROM's were in the AIM? I have 2 AIM's but am missing 2 ROM on one of them. Both units work when I move ROM chips. Would like to get both working 100%.

Welcome, brent2489 :D

Some of our members have specific knowledge regarding the AIM, although I myself do not. We'd be glad to help! However, your post is puzzling and seems hastily written. It's not obvious who Rich is or what web site and code you're referring to.

Also, when you say you're "unable to get [the code] to program into my EEPROM," do you mean the EEPROM fails to retain the bytes written to it? There's definitely a problem if a memory chip can't remember!

Please supply us with more detail, particularly regarding the connections and procedure you're using to write to the TMS2532JL.

cheers,
Jeff

I believe "Rich" must be Rich Cini, the site is http://www.classiccmp.org/cini/ and the ROMs http://www.classiccmp.org/cini/zips/aim_roms.zip (there are some more AIM files in the same directory)
