Hi

I just bought a KIM-1 with a MOS6502 in purple ceramic. Its dated "C 2676" like the one here: https://cdn.cpu-world.com/CPUs/650x/S_MOS-MCS6502%20(purple).jpg

Anyone know what the "C" stands for? Its not mentioned in the datasheet (unlike the "A" suffix).

It probably has to do with the manufacture location, production line, or batch of the day/week.

A ceramic 6502 from 1976 is a rare and potentially valuable beast. Consider testing it for the ROR bug, which was only present in the first year's production run, and was corrected sometime in 1976.
