Hi All, first post on this forum but have been active on others especially regarding exploring less common areas of the Commodore PET … including OS/9, and Hi res plotting & printing using the Supersoft HR boards and Commodore HSG boards.

I have an interest in exploring what else can be done with the Commodore HSG board as it is capable of ‘hi speed’ vector drawing .. to that end has anyone created assembly language routines that calculates 3D matrix rotations … on the fly (using sin/cos/square tables) ?

I have already created the necessary routines (in assembly language) to calculate delta’s and the correct directional command codes to send to the HSG board etc.

I can do it in Basic but it is slow.. I also found Assembly language routines for the C64 which I have ported across but that was using multiplication formulae. There is code on the NET for the BBC Micro but that is highly optimised and too time consuming (though possible) to port across.
