PLASMA has been languishing while everyone else was playing with their compilers. So I took advantage of the coronavacation to tidy some things up and push out an alpha release. Between the TFTP network file transfer server, file utilities, improved editor, and stable AOT compiler and JIT compiler, it makes for a reasonable development platform. And the graphics libraries aren't too shabby, either:

It runs on a 64K Rev 0 Apple II to a 512K Apple ///+ to a 128K 8 MHz 65802 upgraded Apple //c+ to an Apple IIGS and everything in-between. Each configuration gets an optimized VM and optional JIT compiler (8 or 16 bit) capable of running the same binary while seamlessly taking advantage of extended memory.

After 2 1/2 (!) years I finally got around to releasing PLASMA 2.0 Alpha 2. Mostly bug fixes to the self-hosted compiler and the file copying utility. Still looking for motivation to return to the C64 port, but the slow disk drive and flat filesystem make it tough
