Hi all.
I'm looking for the definitive descriptions of the HEX file formats used to copy data to and from PROM programmers, etc. The two formats that I'm really looking for are the MOTOROLA and INtel formats.
Anyone know of where I can find the file specifications?
Also, does anyone have information about a PROMAC 2-A programmer? I have one, it works, but I don't have the software to update the ROM specs nor 'remote control' it. I have managed to upload and download via the RS232, though.

I quickly pounded out a description of Intel Hex (which I've used a lot and programmed for), but it's a little long to post here so I'll E-mail it to you and to anyone else who wants it. Then perhaps I should refine it (and add corrections, if anyone finds any errors) and have Mike Naberezny add it to the 6502.org website.
