As an interesting coincidence, just as BDD started the '65C816 PROGRAMMING TIPS & TRICKS' thread, WDC sent out their WDC newsletter for February (mail), which contained the following:
Quote:
Bill Brier has accumulated his vast 65816 knowledge and created a "Tips and Tricks" guide for everyone. This is a well written and awesome resource. We recommend checking this out [..]

and a link. The problem is that the link points to their featured point of the January article, which was the Merlin32 assembler (points to the author's site). I've googled but can't find anything that matches what they describe.
Is anyone aware of such a Tips and Tricks guide from Bill Brier anywhere on the net?

-Tor

You're right, Ed: the only 65C816 programming article on my site is the interrupt article. Perhaps WDC was referring to the tips and tricks topic I started here. I do know that someone at WDC visits 6502.org at intervals, and perhaps saw the topic. In any case, as Tor noted, the link in their newsletter takes you to a site for the Merlin 32 assembler.

So they did. I just got an updated copy of the newsletter via E-mail.

BTW, it's not "my article." Anything I post here—good or otherwise—belongs to all of us. :D

Ah, I never knew! Thanks, BigEd, that clears it up. It was maybe too much of a coincidence..
And congrats, BDD!
