Per Ed's suggestion, I start this topic to share my experience in configuring cc65 to compile/link programs to run directly from RAM memory of my home brew 6502 computer. The details are here:

Few posts on the above blog that precede the referenced article describe my hardware design and first steps in getting cc65 to produce runnable code for my computer.

thanks for link - I don't see any discussion yet, but I was impressed with your documentation of the process of getting your crt0 runtime together - cc65 is a solid tool but bringing it up on a new platform is a bit of a challenge. I appreciate your writeup!
