This is not an FPGA project, but it has some useful info about oven-soldering BGA parts with 0.8mm ball pitch:

This is pretty impressive work indeed. A shame the author didn't mention costs of having the PCB made.

FWIW, I'm going to be following that guy's blog. It looks like he's into some pretty interesting stuff.

Looks like a pretty good service.

It definitely is! I only use it for prototypes and up to half-eurocard, the prices are good. The smaller, the better. ;)
