So the 50th anniversary of the release of our favorite little processor is nearing rapidly.

How are you going to celebrate?

Or maybe we should do something collectively?

I was hoping to prepare and release two "tiny" ~1.5K interpreters, one for BASIC and one for Ken Boak's MINT, but my current trajectory doesn't look too promising. Inspiration can be an elusive little devil. I may have to lower my expectations and just put a fresh shine on VTL02C (the NMOS version) and call it at that. I was also planning something special for the 50th anniversary of Apple 1 BASIC, but the great and powerful Woz did a brilliant job of making it nearly impenetrable, so that plan is in a holding pattern for now.

I'm almost done with my virtual 6502-on-6502 source release. Should be good timing.

I've dodged this one by going with the '816 instead. Gives me at least a decade before I have to produce anything

I’d say “ditto,” except I started working with the 6502 in late 1976, and didn’t do anything with the 816 until c. 2009.  So I guess I’d better come up with something.
