Firts find a 6502 equiped computer so you can test, verify, practise the things you learned. A Commodore 64 will do fine IMHO.

If you want a cheap text, look on half.com. I bought Programming the 6502 by Rodnay Zaks for $5 including shipping, and you could find cheaper.

Try this manual from the manufacturers web-sitel
(it is quite large :) )

http://www.westerndesigncenter.com/wdc/ ... manual.pdf

It has everything (and I do mean everything).

Cheers,

Paul

Plenty of good paperwork and programs on this website. It has everything for the beginner to the zen experts.
