We're facing this with a number of our hobbyist kit offerings, even if we were willing to pay the new stupid high prices, delivery dates have been in 2023 since at least March! I got prototypes in today for a stupid solution:



Only really feasible because we have our own pick-and-place line. It does work, and the TSSOP parts don't present a different electronic ID, so the Data I/O will still program them just like the DIP part. We're designing them out, but we've got partial kits on hand that need 28C256s so we can use up the run of them.
