In a post from yesterday, I announced that I was thinking about making a tool publicly available that will convert a listing for the KIM-1 into an audio file that can be played back to the KIM-1 with your computer just as if you had the original tape.
Well … … … … it's done!

BE CAREFUL: I have seen many listings online that have been "transcribed" with OCR, but unfortunately have not been edited properly after, so that in those listings there can be lower case "L"s instead of a 1 or "O's" instead of zeros and so on. KIMposer will tell you if it came across invalid hex characters (but won't tell you exactly where to find them – room for later improvement.
Also you have the option to use hypertape'd output which means that the audio file is written in a much more efficient but still 100 percent compatible way which leads to much faster loading times (6 times faster loading data, plus a much smaller sync lead-in).
