It appears that WDC has removed the freely downloadable PDF of the Eyes & Lichty programming manual and replaced it with links to Amazon and Kindle, which implies that the manual is no longer a freebie.

They also posted the 40 year old MOS Technology manual, which while interesting in a historical sense, is a big step backward, in my opinion.

Glad I was able to grab it when I did.

I don't suppose anyone remembers what the status of the rights are/were? Did WDC acquire the rights, or just have permission to share it? Grasping at straws here, but in case there was something to indicate that it would be okay to redistribute the PDF...
