I came across this book i used years ago when clearing out a cupboard ... can't seem to find much reference to it on google. It is by a chap called Steven P Hendrix ... It contains a chapter on processor bugs etc plus the usual stuff .. thought it might be useful to somebody on here.

Thanks, 7zark7 -- and welcome.

Can you fill us in a little, please -- for example, how many pages, and is it hard or soft-cover? Did you wish to donate, or did you have a price in mind? It also might be helpful to specify your location, since shipping cost could be a factor.

cheers,
Jeff

Jeff,

242 pages soft cover published 1986 by WSI , had no thoughts about what i wanted to do with it yet, just wondered if it information in it that might be useful. I am in the UK. Has a chapter called quirks, bugs and other oddities of the 6502 including un-implemented op-codes etc.

Mark

Hello 7zark7,

I'm located in Germany and could get the book scanned to a PDF at the university here in Berlin. We could then spread the book to people who are interested. We would not distribute the PDF public, so it should not be a copyright problem I assume. So we can preserve it from fading away. We could also add it to the following library:

That author also wrote an article in Byte about the 65c02, IIRC - or possibly the 65816. But I don't remember which issue it was in.

It appears to be. It incorrectly credits Rockwell with the development of the 65C02. Rockwell manufactured it under license from WDC.

Thats's right, that's the article. When re-reading some of this old stuff it looks like in some cases not all the background information was as transparent then as it is today, paradoxically perhaps.
