I am extremely new to this so please bare with me. I am trying to create or download a general 6502 assembler. I have lost the one someone gave me. The file name was JN6502A.jar and I need to try and recreate it or just get a general one. Can someone please help me?

There are quite a few free ones. A post referring to a bunch is at viewtopic.php?p=14608#14607 and the last line of it adds the assemblers link on this website, http://www.6502.org/tools/asm/ .

It took a bit of finding, but that specific assembler for NES is found here:
JN6502A in the NeverWare collection by never-obsolete

(I would have found it immediately if I'd switched to DuckDuckGo as my search engine of choice.)
