I wrote a simple 6502 disassembler and was going to post it on the forum if it's of interest, but under which forum section?

My first thought was under 'programming', but it's not strictly following the section heading as it's not in itself, a 6502 program.
There seems to be a similar number of disassembler related posts under 'Emulation and Simulation' as well.

Which section should I post under?

Of course it might not be all that interesting, it's just a standard disassembly in the same fashion as an old 6502 monitor 'd' command.

There are different ways to approach it. One is to attach it as a file to a post. The "Programming" section would be ok because it's for use in program development. Another way is to submit it Mike Naberezny (6502.org owner) and ask him to put it in the tools section of the website, but be aware that it will be very difficult and slow to make changes after it's there, so I would encourage hosting it on your own site or github or something at least until you're convinced no further changes will be made. As a last resort, you could probably invite people to ask you to email it to them, although that probably won't result in nearly as much circulation.

What's an additional VIA among friends, anyhow?

Thanks Garth,

I'll make a post in the "Programming" section.
