Other than the 6bit i/o port on the 6510 and all those missing other pins that are on the 65C02, is there anything else different between the 2 processors? Oh, i know the "illegal" opcodes are trapped or used on the 65C02. Anything else?

AFAIK, the actual processor is a standard NMOS 6502, so it has all the bugs and quirks that got fixed in the CMOS ones (65c02). I don't think its RST\ input is schmitt-trigger. The 6510-1 did not have the onboard clock generator, whereas the 6510 and 6510-2 did. None of the NMOS 6502's had the ML\ (memory lock) output as the modern WDC parts have on pin 5, or the BE (bus enable) input as WDC has on pin 36, or the VP\ (vector pull) output as WDC has on pin 1 of their 65c02.

And, of course, the 6510 does not have all the extra instructions that the 65C02 has, since it is only based on the NMOS 6502

Let's not forget the 65C02 can run at much higher clock rates than the 6510.
