Lode Runner was a great game! I remember it on the C-64 as well. Although it was abit frustrating at times when the mines caved in too fast on the higher levels.

And only 54 years old. Wrote the original 6502 version of Lode Runner over a weekend, having written the predecessors in Fortran and a bit of Pascal: see
