Damn! I must've been sleeping off a binge when the party was held. :)

This was posted a while ago. :) My "happy 10,000th message" was its 10,000th message. :-)

That's OK though. I still have drinks, fruit, cheese, wings, and pizza for the party.

They must have turned moldy or dried out long ago. This topic was brought up again my a spammer yesterday, then bound replied. The spammer and his post have been thrown out. Actually it might not be a bad idea to delete the whole topic now.

Excellent idea. The 10,000th post can happen only once. Anyone for 20,000 posts?

I was surprised how little time it took to get from 7777 (Wally Daniels' post) to 10,000. Forum traffic and interest are on the increase. Things happen slowly here, but good things are happening, and I'm optimistic about new things we should be able to pull off in the near future.

And now, 281 days minus a few hours later, we're at 12,000. It sure has been active recently, and the addition of the programmable logic section is probably part of the reason.

And I may soon be starting a new topic. POC version 2 is in the drafting stage and may be ready for construction in a few weeks. New design with GALs in place of 74xx glue logic, I/O wait-stating and SCSI. Preliminary timing analysis suggests I may be able to crank this thing up to 20 MHz, assuming the wait-state logic works in a...er...logical fashion.
