Thank you so much for sharing, John ... it looks great, but I'm doing my best to not be envious of your productivity in an area of creativity that has been a brutal struggle for me in recent years with my 65m32. |

I mentioned 65020 to randyhyde although I was unaware of the similarity to barrym95838's 65m32. Indeed, I had to check that barrym95838 wasn't reporting a significantly re-formulated 65m32. The middle-endian arrangement is extremely clever. For about two days, I considered ... |

... I don't understand your assembly language example, so I'll just whip out my own foreign example, from my imaginary DTC FORTH for my imaginary 65m32 (a=dTOS, y=IP, x=rSP, s=dSP): ` 168 `-------------------------------------------------------------- dodoes ` 169 dodoes_: ` ( -- a )( R: -- a ... |

... seems appealing to me when I see the common words like DUP, DROP and NIP turn into a single machine instruction plus NEXT (PHA, PLA, PLY). In my 65m32 DTC FORTH, literally dozens of primitives reduce to a single machine instruction, making optimized STC the proper performance-oriented solution. ... |

... with carry (CDC) or negate-and-add (NDD) instruction would obviate the need to swap arguments in some cases. I have plenty of opcode slots in my 65m32, so it will definitely have at least one of those before it's ready for prime-time. "Whimsical" and "late" are integral parts ... |

... I presume you have many other skills which you practice to a high caliber. Within the scope of 6502 extensions, your recent contribution regarding 65m32, Forth, program stack and data stack is exquisite. I am under the impression that 8/32 bit source compatible 65m32 is snagged on two issues. The ... |

... around a thousand balls in a BGA. One 32-bit quasi-65xx architecture from one of our forum members, Michael Barry, that looks good is his 65m32 . See Ed's " Index of threads for improved 6502 and derived architectures " topic too. |
