Wanted to share my results of the MEEPROMMER site; thanks again Mario! Programming those AT28C256's works like a charm. For some reason only v1.1 of the Arduino sketch works reliably though. Also I couldn't get the Java app to work (I'm running W10x64) so I am using Martin_H's windows app ...
