Not yet... but I'm hoping that the RAM will help increase the speed. Also if I do my coding right... I ought to be able to use some of it as LCD memory(using a 27C** type chip... I can store the commands and use the ram as a faster version of normal display memory).
Thanks

SDRAM

Hey ya'll... I was just wondering if anyone can refer me to a company that makes cheap SDRAM chips? I need a bunch of 32MB+ SDRAM IC's, so if anyone could help me... I'd be greatly appreciative.
Thanks

Can you give me any electrical, PCB style, descriptions of how I could use this in AF/RF transmissions?
I mean how would I wire these crystals? I've never dealt with the crystals themselves... though I have used oscillators and prewired clock crystals.

This is not as absurd as you might think it is. I haven't been in the field of photonics for some time, but I distinctly remember that there are crystals that one can grow that effectively modulates "OF" (optical frequency, my own term) against an electrical AF/RF signal, to produce a new OF. I ...

In sort, I have to wonder, why in the world are you considering 1THz?

Because the terrahertz zone is entirely unused. Even the government can't use the terrahertz zone yet. Therefore, as far as communications goes, it's the most secure. Ie., no one on the band... no possible ...

I know that crystals go way beyond 30 MHz but I was just using that as an example... what I actually want is a frequency of 1THz (terrahertz). To date NO ONE has made a crystal that works at that frequency. I was hoping to use a bunch of the 5.8GHz crystals together to equal the frequency I want ...

Crystal Oscillators

Hey ya'll... I was wondering if it was possible to combine crystal oscillators to produce a great clock speed? IE... if I combine a 10MHZ crystal with a 20MHZ crystal, could I get a combined output of 30MHZ? Or is this not possible? Thanks.

Rockwell processors on ebay... cheap

Hey ya'll... someone might want to snatch these up quick. I would but my dad would have a shit-fit if I get anymore computer parts. I really hate to let these go.

The 16L8 has no internal state, and few enough inputs that it's practical to wire up switches and LEDs and write the truth table by hand. I did that once in my previous job: we'd run out of pre-programmed devices, and the company that made the equipment we were servicing no longer existed.
I ...

Of course... I shoulda known that... anyone know a good way to do a hex dump on these? I'm using an HP 4100 series laptop with a messed up serial port... so parallel or usb is best. Any ideas?

PAL16L8ACN

Hey Ya'll... I managed to rescue 17 IC chips marked PAL16L8ACN and I can't find the datasheets for these anywhere. Could anyone tell me what the heck these things are? What they're used for? Perhaps even how to program them? Any help would be apprieciated. Thanks.

the only problem is that only people with some type of internet connection (swiftlink, RR net etc) will be able to play online ..

Not necessarily... don't forget before there were ISP's there were dialin servers/computers that allowed direct connections... as long as the have a decent modem and ...

Hey ya'll just got hold of an old Apple IIc and was wondering if anyone had a schematic for the power supply cord? If someone could/would post it or send it to me at lyosnorezel@yahoo.com I'd be much apprieciative. Thanks.

Hey ya'll made another discovery... a USB to USB connector board schematics... might help us make a USB bus for a 6502... Those of you wizards might want to check this out.
